OUR CHILDREN’S PLACE OF CLIFTON SPRINGS PROGRAMS
Provides a warm, secure enriched environment for infants and toddlers from the ages of 6 weeks to 3 years.
Provides developmentally appropriate activities that prepare children for future education. Expert care and nurturing for children ages 3 to 5 years is provided.
HEAD START PROGRAM
Provides a comprehensive child development program for preschool age children. Priority consideration is given to children of low income families and children with special needs or disabilities. More information about Head Start.
Our agency contracts with the Phelps-Clifton Springs School District to provide Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) programming. The school district recognizes Our Children’s Place’s ability to prepare children for kindergarten, both academically and socially, using the New York State Education Standards.
SCHOOL’S OUT PROGRAM
Provides recreational and education activities for school age children before and after regular school hours, on school holidays and summer vacations.
In collaboration with the Clifton Springs Hospital, Our Children’s Place of Clifton Springs offers an award winning intergenerational program.
Children participate in a variety of activities that include:
- a guitar-led weekly song time
- the children’s annual play
- trike-a-thon for Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital
